Cosmetology is a professional skill of beauty. A cosmetologist is a person that gives beauty treatments and that has a profession with cosmetology. A cosmetologist can do many things. For example, beauty treatments,acrylic nails, hair styles, dying hair, doing makeup, massages, pedicure and manicure, and etc.
How to become a cosmetologist
To become a cosmetologist you have to go to cosemtology classes during high school if you can so you have some practice. In the cosmetology school you have to pass a test to get your license to work in a salon. This career takes up to 2 years for full time. In a year you earn about 16,000 or less. To start in a salon you have to participate in an apprenticeship program.
